    It's About Time

What a fantastic idea to involve the minds and talent of the students at Art Center. As a long time Indy Car fan, it's great to see the speedway and the people at Indy Car realizing that open wheel cars and the whole experience is ready to take the next step. These students have the creativity and ideas to help Tony George and the IRL go where open wheel racing has not been before. Now go use the ideas and presentation to really do something spectacular !!!

Dreams & Vision Are Where Our Future Is Birthed.

I think this type of program the video represents is nothing less than what it will take to morph open wheel racing to the next level of high speed (and safe) racing.

    Future Future Future

    Wow, good going guys.
I have seen a few cars in the video that I was completely breathless.
I wish some of these cars would already be in the indy racing league.

This is exactly was I was telling my friend.
Many car companies like FORD, CHEVY, TOYOTA, BMW, BENZ, JEEP -I can go on and on..
but like I was saying, many companies are showing these concept cars in the auto show and people want to buy them. because people want to live in the future already, but all these car companies do is give us old cars again and again.

People would even slow down on the highway knowing that they have a future car and recking it would be really stupid.
Every time I walk in a auto show , all I say is we are never going to have it, we are never ever going to have it.
because thats what these car companies do......
Is they tease and tease and tease, but never make the cars that we people LOVE.
so we have to make due with what we have..
and thats junk same old cars..

These people at this art college made a really nice move.

Hopefully once I start in Indycar Series, these cars would be in the series.
But would not mind that beautiful Dallarra.

I know everyone who sees this would love it. And the first thing that comes up on their minds I bet anyone is:
    "I WISH I OWNED ONE"
I hope indy series have these types of cars way before 2020.

I am so happy that sometime before I hop off this planet is that Indycar series will soon have some great future cars in their league.

I can't stop watching the video., its like so addictive.
    ...... hahaha.......
I LOVE that DANICA PATRICK CAR.
    Mouth dropping.
Can someone hand me a tissue for my drools please...........

    Art Center presentation

Congratulations to whom ever came up with the idea of involving the Art Center students/faculty in this project. The designs looked to be quite possible and would add much interest to a segment of racing that has been waining recently.
I have been involved in open wheel racing for over 50 years, having helped build race cars by hand and working in the Indy car pit crews so I believe I can speak to a wide audience about the excitement that is still possible with open wheel and especially Indy Car racing. It has been in a funk since the split and it is time to put a forward face on this sport. It is still the most exciting type of racing in the world and should not be taking a back seat to NASCAR.
Get some of those new designs moving and you will get back the Tony Stewarts, Kasey Kahne's, J.J. Yeley's and Jeff Gordon's back to the "Greatest spectacle in Racing". I hope that some of the students started their project by going backwards to see some of the beautiful handcrafted cars like the early Millers, Novi's, Blue Crown's and Watson cars that exhibited artistic interpretation of what a race car could be. One of the students did a take-off on the Frank Lockhart Daytona car- Stutz Blackhawk, now those were race cars.
Don't stop now racing has always been about pushing the design envolope- that's what stirs your sole not "Oversized poorly designed Taxi Cabs" with numbers!
