I would agree regarding the road courses vs. ovals for Indy car racing. Just look at Formula 1. The technology is incredible, but the racing is not. Basically the qualifying for Formula 1 is the most exciting part of the race weekend. Little or no passing other than at the standing start and winning margins often of a minute or more. Watching Indy car racing on ovals is extremely exciting comparatively speaking. To see cars going over 220 miles per hour inches from each other and winning margins often in the thousandths of a second is awesome.

I think oval racing is the best racing because of the speed and how close the cars are. Road courses you just see 1/8 of the race. What fun is that for fans?

Someone would have been seriously hurt or killed if this has happened just a few years ago. What an amazing testament to the integrity of the safety equipment and the design of the cars.

I hope thes guys can get to some kind of understanding of eachother,we the fans are the ones who spend the cash at mis,this is a very big tradition to be lost ,this race is part of michigan and irish hills and jackson,I hope they can get to gether and get the issues at hand resolved.....
