I cannot fault the IMS. They merely turned the track over to NASCAR for the parade. It was their show. If the teams had any balls they would have refused to race instead of the politically correct corporate answers most gave at the end. All you had to do was listen to race control to know when the next yellow was coming: "Throw it. This one's on me." As soon as they went back green the tower told the teams the lap number to expect the next one. I'm waiting for the class action lawsuit to be filed against NASCAR and Goodyear so we can all jump on it with both feet. Tony Eury Jr told them in April the tires wouldn't hold up after the half-assed tire test in April. Can't wait for May when the REAL racing returns to IMS. Ray Harroun must be rolling over in his grave. |

I don't think IMS deserves to earn $25 million (250,000 seats X $100 avg ticket cost) for a fake race. If fans don't get what they came for, others don't deserve to earn from it.. |
