Jack B. Hinkle, who owned cars that Jack McGrath placed on the front row of the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race five years in a row during the early 1950s, died in his sleep Jan. 31 at his home in Wichita, Kan. He was 90.McGrath drove Hinkle's car between 1950-55, winning the pole in 1954 and leading four races for a total of 70 laps. Read Full Story |
