CART/Champcar would often run a sweeper along the top/outside of the turn on an oval and use the jet blower to push everything else down and off the track.
There were some very long yellows this year. Maybe they did some work on the marbles but they do build up again. From the tv coverage, I couldn't tell much as to what they were doing during these extending yellows. [/quote]
