[quote=Joel Ridolfi]Born in 1960, obviously i didnt attend the '52 500 but, my father did. He worked for UPI as a teletype operator and worked in the press box. He recieved a Zippo Lighter which had the Indy Logo on the front and " From Tony and Wilbur " on the back. He said he was provided with a box lunch from the speedway which contained the lighter. Since then, he brought my brothers and I to the Time Trials durring the 60s but I didnt attend the Race untill 1973. Ive attended some great races since then including '82 with the Mears and Jhoncock close finnish, '91 where Michael and Rick fought for the lead with Mario blocking, and several others .... great memories but the greatest thing is that my Father gave me that Zippo Lighter in the mid 90s prior to his death in '02 at 86 years old.
