Mr George, Isn't it about time to air the 500 live in Indiana? After all, the Brickyard 400 is aired live. I do believe you have done wonders for motorsports in Indianapolis but I would bet there are many people who would like to know why the 500 is NOT aired live in Indiana. |

Now that IndyCar is at long last unified, they need to start improving the product on TV. As of right now, the coverage of NASCAR on Fox and TNT far, far outpaces that of IndyCar on ABC. For example, during qualifying this last weekend the announcers kept talking about how big a deal the wind was and showing repeated shots of wind socks around the track. How about a graphic showing the direction of the wind over the top of an image of the track? How about animation showing the effects of wind or wind gusts over the car? How about a cut-away car like NASCAR has. I will say I really admire the technical and professional knowledge of Scott Goodyear. He's not very dynamic, but he definitely knows his stuff. |

I'm so glad we got DirectTV and ESPN Classic this past fall!!! I love watching past Indy 500's UN-EDITED!! ABC and IMS should really look into putting out DVDs of every COMPLETE race they have. It's like watching raw, untouched and pure history! Gaiking6 |

The Indy 500 would greatly profit if they opened up the sport to live coverage worldwide on the Internet. The real die-hard race fans will still always be at the track in person. - Joe Nelson, former race team mechanic |
